Nanotechnology News
The term nanotechnology refers to the development and application of atomic, molecular and macromolecular materials by manipulating nanoparticles, which are less than one hundred nanometers in any one dimension. A nanometer is one thousand millionth of a meter, or about one hundred thousand times smaller than the diameter of a human hair.
Advances in nanotechnology apply to a range of industries, everything from aerospace to medical implants to textiles. While nanotechnology offers great potential to improve a vast array of consumer products, its human health and environmental impacts are not well understood.
The list below offers insight into nanotechnology issues, including the business growth and development surrounding nanotechnology, government response to nanotechnology’s potential hazards and new avenues of litigation.
